Okey, so I'm taking two english classes which means I have to read two books for the summer. Last time I read Sharp Teeth...and loved it. This time, it's Hungry. Another amazing story.
A model who has a dream to become a top supermodel and would go to any lengths to get there. Literally. So you know how almost all models looks skinny as a toothpick that you could easily break in half? well, this is her story.
Crystal Renn, at age 14-16, lost seventy pounds to be accepted to Vogue magazine. The big industry. She became anorexic, doing rediculous workouts, having abnormal eating habits, and becoming weak to the bone. No seriously. She put her body through so much suffering for years just to be in big photo shoots. But one day, she had an epiphany. She couldn't hurt her body anymore. Today, she is one of the leading plus-size model's in America's modeling industry.
This book makes you as the reader have an epiphany, showing you how to love your own body, and that being skinny isn't everything.
I adored this book to the heart. Now, Crystal Renn is an inspiration to me. The power of a strong woman.

Okey. So school's boutta start and I'm suppose to be reading my summer assignment book for English class. You know how the majority of the required books are boring as chicken?
well this one isn't....at all.
Never judge a book's by it's cover. This book taught me this fine lesson. Love werewolves? then this is the choice for your reading heart. I literally spent hours just enjoying each word. It's style of writing is so dramatically different that it's so interesting and fills you with curiousity how it is that the author can write as is.
Personally, I'm a big poetry person. This book is written in poetic form and with such adjectives that it makes you love english grammar. This summer reading has been the only one in which I have most likely enjoyed...so much...i might have a tear in my eye... :')
I would HIGHLY recommend this book to poet lovers and in general to anyone who loves to read a good book filled with mystery, hot pumping romance, and your everyday life of a mighty dog.
Ahh sweet..sweet bliss. <3
Mini Machines in our skins??
Okey. So i'm on facebook and a friend of mine posts up a status on the new government decision for 2017. New identification-microchips for humans? um weird. The government have made a decision that many people in the united states don't have their identification when needed or people stealing another person's identity. Supposedly, this way the government can identify each u.s. citizen without any problems. There are already many new advances in technology now a days in which we only need the touch of a finger. With this, we wouldn't need to be carrying around id's in our wallets and worrying about someone stealing your social security. Okey, that's all good and stuff but really...having a machine under your skin? Anything can go wrong.
Now. Another thing. No matter what religion you are, here is a fact my friend posted. In the Catholic bible, God describes this occurrence as the mark of the beast, known as 666. In the bible, the many occurrences in life are written in there. A future experience.
This is coming from his point of view...kinda makes me have doubts.
What's next for the government's decisions? make us all machine droids like in the anime or Terminator? Let us not depend too much on technology and focus more on nature, because as this is going, we are all going to forget on what's natural and focus on machines.
The Hollow
Title: The Hollow
Author: Jessica Verday
Pub: Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing
Pub Date: September 2009
Ever been fascinated by the Legend of Sleepy Hollow? Then here's an amazing back story to this wonderful legend. I just recently had the chance to read this book and finish it in...ta da! 2 days :) good record if I do say so myself ladies and germs. This book is a wonderful read filled with mystery, romance (yum) and dark secrets lurking within. This story will have you craving for more and more with every chapter. Betrayal is a delicious subject in the story. Love is the best pain one can feel. And a reality check? More like legend-coming-to-real-life-in-a-boring-town. Ha! as if right? or am i telling the truth? hmmmm.
If your a fan of the Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith, this is a story to sink your feelings in.
The sequel to this fascinating book is called The Haunted. I wonder what is to happen? ;)
Can the world in 2012 be saved...?
Okey. So I finished the game of Nancy Drew : Legend of the Crystal Skull. Amazing game! Yet, through out the game I found some very valuable facts. Crystal Skulls. The Key!!! I got interested in the crystal skulls thanks to nancy drew. I looked up documenteries and found out alot...about the mystery of Atlantis, Crystall Skulls, and the myth of 2012.
No need to thank me. I know I'm good.
Anyways, Scientists have discovered several skulls throughout the world. They have found that these skulls have existed during the Mayan times. Which is over 1,000 years ago. They created these skulls in order to have healing powers and tradition.
So what's the big scandel?
Thing is, How can mayans, who didn't have the advanced tools to carve in crystal (by which fact says if one is to carve in crystal at that time, it would suddenly crumble) be able to carve in this crystal. Scientists have tried to find evidence from each and every centimeter of the skulls to find proof that they were carved using modern tools. None were ever found. Going back to the myth of December 21, 2012, Mayans have left information for us saying that if all 13 crystal skulls were to be found, on this day exact, the wisdom of the great skulls will save the world. Their sole purpose upon creation.
But did they really come from the Mayans? People today are still skeptic. They could have come from aliens...or from Atlantis itself. Even though the lost city was never to be found today, it is said that the great people from Atlantis had a reputation of carving crystal for their own use.
Today, these magnificent skulls are kept in museums to show the world, a few researchers to heal the sick, and by priests who dearly believe the mysterious skulls have the power of healing.
So what's your belief?
Salvation
Hey ya'll. so i guess you didn't know that i write poetry....well i do. :)
here's my latest. Hope you like it.
Teardrops of rain cry on a black puddle
Clouds like ancient guards, blocking the sunshine
The world turned black and white against it's will
No freedom
Pain, sadness...madness ingulfs on that black puddle
As the clock ticks backwards, so do my memories
Trapped in a hall down memory lane
All doors locked with no key
Except one
The one door opens with a special key
Him
Teardrops of rain become into joy of rainbows
Royal sunshine outlaw the ancient guards
Loving color fills the breatheless world with life
Salvation
One small black puddle metaphores into crystal clear light
As the clock ticks foward, a red rose slowly blooms in my heart
Time passes and he's all my mind can register
Worthless memories are replaced with moments, never to be forgotten
Thank you for being the color in my black and white portrait

Let's Face it....
Okey. We all love a good book now and again right? Harry Potter, Twilight, Vampire Diaries, Eragon, and yes even To Kill a Mockingbird. Yet...tell me one thing that all these books have in common..Think REALLY hard.
Give up?
They were All turned into movies and/or television episodes. We all get excited that we're finally going to see how the characters look like in real life and how they act or how hott they look. We see the movie or watch each episode every thursday night. But tell me one thing..what's your opinion on the movie/episode? Do they act good, are the elements in the right place, are the special effects any good?
Most of us might say yes only because we get excited that they finally made a real production. But go back, read the book and watch the movie/episode again. Does your opinion change? i think so.
Based on the opinions through other people who respond to blogs, most of the movies/episodes BOMBED the original purpose of the story and concept. In the books, details are made to explain the plot or the meaning of the whole book while in the movie/episode, the screenwriter may decide to cut out that one purpose that makes the whole story worthwhile. Why? maybe because they focus on trying to add the most fun parts of the story within those two hours of the movie or within that one hour episode. These days, producers focus on making movies based on books or comic books INSTEAD of trying to come up with their own ideas. Seriously, the only original movie that has come out is Kung Fu Panda. It's ridiculous.

Is she a Liar...?
So. Let's get down to the chase. Is your girlfriend a liar? Do you really trust her to tell you the whole truth and nothing but the truth? Because to let you know cowboys...this aint court. Your girl isn't going to put her hand on the bible and tell you the whole truth. So what do you do?
Here are a few general hints...if your that oblivious.
- What she's good at: Shakin her boobies and bootay. Very slick move. Men tend to get their mind focused on the goods the minute it's present. Tsk tsk. Secret weapon for a woman who wants to change the subject. So boys, if your on a topic that you feel strongly about, don't let your girl distract you by her goods.
- Guilty conscience?: You bring your girl a gift for anniversary, birthday, or just out of random, but what if she doesn't accept it? Your girl may have lost feelings for you. Sorry bud. But another reason can be that she feels guilty for something she did and you being nice to her. Hey, atleast she has feelings.
- Chill...: This is a biggy one. And most common. If you and your girlfriend are having a conversation and a subject abruptly comes up and her tone changes...suspicious? Woman tend to pause when asked something they are uncomfortable with. Could be a good thing if you surprise her with poetry or a ring..badly if your looking for the truth. Yet, some tend to overreact about a simple question or assumption. Be careful boys.
- Pants on Fire: One of the most obvious. Fidgeting. If a woman is fidgeting with an object or making a repeating movement WITHOUT making eye contact, something is up. Keep in that in mind. Now, if she is making eye contact, give her a brownie point.
- Personality much?: Get to know the girl before. Now, pay attention. Does she lie to other people regularly? To her best friends or family members? And i mean big lies. not white lies like "your hair is fine, don't worry." I'm talking about the types of lies that add to her own benefit. If she lies to other people, what makes you think she won't lie to you? Duh.
- Storyteller: Is she telling you a story and lacking details? Hmm...that's got you thinking. Now, if you ask for the details, is she making eye contact or fidgeting? bigger hmmm...Focus on body language.
- A Male's Intuition: Listen to your gut cowboys. Is she telling you something that seems out of the ordinary? Do you think something's up? If it's just paranoia, she should be able to keep you at ease. If not, follow your intuition. Trust yourself.
Secrets Can Kill...
Love a little computer game now and again with a spice of mystery? Nancy Drew is here to solve the case ;)
Last summer, i had the amazing chance to play this mystery/adventure game on my computer. To my surprise....AWSOME! in my opinion annyway. There are currently over 15 games in the series, and each one gets better. The publisher is HerInteractiv, a company run by females, yet a mind of full mystery. Compared to the books, this game has no faults. I would literally sit on my on the ground with the laptop on my lap and play each game for over 5 hours....okey my butt was sore after but it was sooo worth it. I even got scared in some scenes in the game...im not joking! >.<
Other publishing game companies like JustAdventure, FourFatChicks, and Superkids rate this game to full on shooting stars!
This game is perfect for kids with ages 10 and up...just ask your granny if she wants to go back to her youth days while reading nancy drew...she might never let you get on facebook agen...scary.
I recommend this game to anyone who loves mystery, thriller, and massive adventure.

You can say i'm late in the news, but Warner Brothers have agreed to turn this book straight into production. yes yes into a movie ya'll =) LaGravanese is to be the screenwriter. Cool huh? Of course the date for the legit movie isn't close to being decided yet...i don't even think they have the auditions, but i just hope they don't ruin the book. Dude, seriously.
Hey Monday - I Don't Wanna Dance
New song from Hey Monday. When listening to this song, i thought it was the type of music that brought back memories from bands like Superchick, Letters to Cleo, and Automatic Loveletter. ahh the good days. An eccentric type of sound. Just watching the video wants to make you get up and dance! .....that's my imagination anyway.
